Who We Are

Vision 2041 “SMART Bangladesh” and Our Contribution

SIRI sailed its journey on October 15, 2021 at Kachuahat in Saghata Upazila under Gaibandha district. As a non-political, social development NGO, SIRI has been working since its inception towards the goal of “Empowering women and building a smart, work-oriented, child-friendly society free from hunger and poverty” Some recent projects support educated unemployed youth and women to develop their earning skills, so that they can establish themselves as Smart Entrepreneurs by earning through Digital Marketing of Handicraft Products. Training and support is provided to earn using social media, YouTube channel. Online Outsourcing, Basic English Grammar and Spoken English Courses are conducted to the youth, women, jobseeker and online entrepreneur as they can contribute to internal market and to reduce unemployment problems. SIRI also works alongside climate victims to ensure sustainable livelihoods and food security in Char and dams.

Stop Child Rape, Abuse, Child Marriage and Cyber Bulling

SIRI builds awareness among children, parents, guardians and community members to stop child rape, sexual exploitation and abuse. Also, it promotes blended learning by involving traditional learning methods with ICT based learning.  Ensuring Rights of Ethnics SIRI works to ensure the rights of women belonging to a minority by caste and creed, social outcastes, Dalit community. We engage these caste groups in social functions, festivals, everywhere to increase their access at par with other people in society.

Non-Communicable Diseases Posed a Humanitarian Threat

SIRI implements some innovative projects related to health and nutrition for vulnerable people such as projects to reduce the risk and effect of non-communicable diseases and drug addiction.
